1. DUBROVNIK PANORAMA & SIGHTSEEING
Half day tour
This
tour begins with a coach drive to the coastal highway for a
panoramic view of the city walls, ancient roof tops and the
picturesque surroundings. We then continue with the walking tour of
the city which is on UNESCO-s List of Cultural Heritage.
This ancient town, surrounded by ramparts and fortresses, is a
treasure trove of architectural and cultural masterpieces,
scrupulously preserved over the centuries. A pleasant walk will take
you to the Rector's Palace, the Franciscan Monastery with its
14th-century Pharmacy, as well as to other places of interest.

2. MOSTAR
Full day tour
This area has seen varied cultures and religions
over the centuries, each of them leaving its traces which this tour
will show you. We drive along the coast to the town of Neum, then
inland through the mountains area of Herzegovina. A short stop above
the Deransko Lake will be followed by a drive along the Neretva
River valley to Mostar. During the Turkish rule, the city was an
important trade centre, and a guided tour will show you the city's
highlights, such as the old Bazaar, the Mosque or a typical Turkish
house. Our return drive takes us to Pocitelj - a picturesque
fortress town rich in oriental architecture.

3. TRSTENO - STON
Half day tour
The
Arboretum at Trsteno will delight you with its exotic vegetation and
plants, such as giant plane trees, palms and camphor trees. After a
leisurely stroll through the botanical garden, we depart for Ston,
which was among the first towns in Europe to be built according to a
definite urban plan. Hundreds of visitors are attracted by the 5
kilometres long stone walls protecting Ston. Other attractions
include the old salt-work where salt is still produced, and the
famous oyster and mussel farm. Sightseeing will be followed by a
snack in a Dalmatian cellar.

4. KONAVOSKI DVORI
Half day tour
An
unique opportunity to spend an unforgettable day in an idyllic
natural setting. Enjoy a drive through the picturesque villages of
the Konavle region (Popovici, Radovcici) before we stop above the
town of Molunat for a view of the Croatian southernmost part - the
Prevlaka peninsula. We re-join our coach to continue through the
Konavle Valley to the Konavoski Dvori Restaurant. A traditional
welcome of local brandy and dried figs will take place in front of
the restaurant.
Enjoy the romantic charm created by the swift river lined with
greenery, exceptional wines and traditional cuisine of the area. A
visit to the gallery of the primitive painter Mijo Šiša Konavljanin
in the village of Mihanici will round off this memorable and highly
enjoyable excursion.

5. VILLAGE OF CILIPI - Folklore tour

Our drive takes you through the Župa dubrovacka
region to the village of Cilipi in the heart of the fertile Konavle
Valley. Heavily damaged in the recent war, the village of Cilipi has
been restored, preserving its charm and rich tradition. A welcome
drink will be offered upon arrival, and those who wish may attend
Mass at St. Nicholas' church. The tour continues with a walk through
this picturesque village with an opportunity to buy traditional
souvenirs. After Mass, there will be a folklore performance in front
of the church.

6. MONTENEGRO
Full day tour
Hardly one hour from Dubrovnik, the Montenegro
Littoral provides incomparable natural beauties and an abundance of
historical sites. Our drive takes us to the mouth of the Bay of
Kotor and along the curving roadway through the towns of Risan and
Perast to Kotor. Here we will stop to capture with your cameras one
of the most beautiful parts of the bay, and learn some of the
compelling history of this area. Our descent from the heights will
take us to Cetinje, the one-time seat of Montenegran rulers, today a
city-museum. After sightseeing in Cetinje we return to the coast
with a short stop above Sveti Stefan and Budva. Our return drive to
Dubrovnik will be pleasantly shortened by a ferry ride across the
bay.

7. MEÐUGORJE
- Place of pilgrimage

Join our tour to experience the spirit of
Medugorje. Discover and experience the phenomenon that has made
Medugorje one of the most famous places of pilgrimage throughout the
Catholic world, attracting millions of visitors. Since 1981, the
Virgin Mary has been relaying Her message of peace to the seers, and
this place has been attracting millions of visitors from all over
the world. After Mass, those who wish may visit the Apparition Hill
where the Virgin Mary first appeared to the children.

9. PELJEŠAC WINES AND VINEYARDS
Full day tour
A
quality wine is, by its drinkability, colour and bouquet, a real
treat for your eyes, taste and your soul. It is particularly
enjoyable to drink it with homemade specialities, which you will
experience on our Pelješac wine trail. Pošip and Mali Plavac wines
from the Grgic wine cellar (a famous Californian vintner) will be
tasted at Trstenik, a picturesque place in lovely cove. We continue
via Potomje, where a photo pause will be made, to Prizdrina for
lunch with the Bartulovic family. The tour takes us on to the
village of Pinkie to visit the Milo family wine cellar. There will
be ample opportunity to capture the picturesque vineyards and
scenery with your camera.

10. NERETVA - RIVER DELTA / Combination
of historical heritage and natural beauty
Full day tour
The Neretva River Delta is an area of vast
marshland abundant in flora and fauna sheltering hundreds of species
of birdlife. Cruise in small boats - "trupice" - through the canals
to enjoy the beauty and variety of the delta. Visit the
Ornithological Collection in the town of Metkovic, preserving 229
exhibits of bird species. Visit the excavation of ancient Narona
(today a town of Vid) from 1st/2nd centuries where ramparts,
temples, and a forum have been covered by the mud from the river for
centuries.

11. THREE ISLANDS CRUISE
Full day cruise
This cruise takes us to the Elaphite Islands for
a visit to the three largest islands in the group: Kolocep, Šipan
and Lopud. Ruins of former patrician summer residences are scattered
along the island's wooded slopes. A short stop will be made on the
island of Šipan, followed by a trip to Lopud where we shall visit
the 15th-century church of St. Mary. There will be some free time on
Lopud before our return voyage.

12. FISH PICNIC
Full day cruise
This cruise offers you the sun, sea and a
relaxing change of pace from the moment you embark. Sail past the
Elaphite Islands before you disembark at a secluded bay where a
traditional welcome of dried figs and local brandy will be offered.
Enjoy lunch of grilled fish, local cheeses and unlimited wine, while
being entertained by Dalmatian music. The games will add to the
fun-filled afternoon.

13. ISLAND OF KORCULA
Full day trip
Korcula
is considered to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, and legend says
that the town of Korcula was founded by the Trojan hero Antenor.
History and tradition are apparent when you walk along the paved
streets and squares of this lovely town. The city tour includes a
visit to cultural and historical monuments, including the treasury
of the Abbey, the City Museum and the Museum of Icons. The rest of
the day is spent at leisure before our return sail to Dubrovnik.

ISLAND OF MLJET-NATIONAL PARK
Full day tour by hydrofoil
This
excursion will take you to island of Mljet. This island is one of
the loveliest and most densely wooded islands in the Adriatic. A
part of the island has been declared a National Park. National Park
covers northwestern part of Mljet with an area of 5.375 ha of
protected land and surrounding sea. The rich vegetation of the
island, especially in the area of the National Park, explains why
Mljet is also known as the Green Island. History of this island goes
back in Illyrian times, which left many different traces behind,
from stone structures, grave remains, writing terminology and other
material traces on the whole island of Mljet. It is a unique
panoramic landscape of well intended coastline, cliffs, reefs and
numerous islands, as well as the rich topography of the nearby
hills, which rise steeply above the sea and hide numerous ancient
stone villages.
The main attractions on Mljet are two salt-water lakes- Great Lake
and Small Lake (Veliko i Malo jezero). Great Lake is covering an
area of 145 ha, with a maximum depth of 46 m. The Small Lake has an
area of 24 ha and a maximum depth of 29 m. The natural secrets of
both lakes have attracted many scientists over the years, as well as
other nature lovers from a wide range of professions and personal
interests.
Join a boat trip to the island in the Great Lake for a visit to the
12th-century Benedictine Monastery. Enjoy a stroll around the island
or swim in the lovely saltwater lake. |
